Here are the results so far. I'm still missing votes from three developers. If they don't vote until I put up the polling script, I'll have to ignore thier votes.
The developers had 5 votes, the first one being worth 5 points, the second 4 and so on. Currently 5 developers submitted thier votes. Three developers did not submit thier votes yet. The people listed as developers on the project page on SourceForge were allowed to vote in this round. The next round will be public. The five favourite candidates from the developers voting round will enter the public round.
Note: Some of the candidates require to be changed before we will use them on the website. E.g. the aspect ratio or text has to be changed, which may also affect the layout of the image. We vote for the concept and style now, not for the absolute image.
Here are the submissions to our banner contest. These will be rated by the developers now and the 5 favourites will remain to be voted by the users. I can't say yet exactly when one of us will have a proper voting script up and running. I hope it will be soon.
Some of the banners will have to be resized before they can be used on the homepage.
Note: Some of the images use transparency. PNG transparency may not be properly displayed by any Internet Explorer version available. If you want to see the images as they were intended to be seen by their creators, use Mozilla, Konqueror, Opera or probably anything except the IE.
